France coach Laurent Blanc was giving little away regarding his Euro 2012 squad announcement after Sunday night's dramatic 3-2 friendly win over Iceland, admitting that he had learned a number of "interesting lessons" from the game. Les Bleus found themselves two goals down at the break, following first-half strikes from Birkir Bjarnason and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, but they came storming back after the interval and claimed a hard-earned victory courtesy of goals from Mathieu Debuchy, Franck Ribery and Adil Rami. "The two halves should be analysed separately," he told reporters after the game. "The first half was timid, with a lot of waste and it was difficult for us to find a balance. Iceland attacked twice and scored each time. "In the second, there was the reaction. By changing the balance, we created a lot of chances then we scored three goals. "There are some very interesting lessons to be learned from this match, so we must analyse them well and then make the right choices [regarding the squad]." Blanc is scheduled to name his final squad for Euro 2012 before Tuesday.
