Juventus are 'not interested' in Liverpool striker Luis Suarez as he looks to extend his stay at Anfield, ending speculation surrounding the Uruguayan's future. The Turin club have been linked with a move for Suarez in the past, dating back as far as September 2010, when the 25-year-old played for Ajax in the Eredivisie. However, Goal.com can reveal that there have been no negotiations between the Bianconeri and Liverpool regarding the transfer of Suarez. The forward, who was suspended for eight matches for racially abusing Patrice Evra, has reiterated his desire to remain in the Premier League and has opened talks with the club for a contract extension. Suarez is currently paid €3 million (£2.4m) per year but that would rise to €4.8m (£3.85m) under the terms of a new deal that would tie him to the club until 2016. Juventus secured the Serie A title following an unbeaten league campaign. However, a lack of goals have prompted the club to search for a marquee signing and Edinson Cavani and Gonzalo Higuain have been linked along with Suarez. Liverpool finished a disappointing eighth place in the Premier League with Suarez netting 17 goals in all competitions.
