Paris - Arabstoady

PARIS: Lille put their Champions League exit behind them with a 2-0 win over Dijon on Sunday which consolidated third place in the French first division, two points behind joint-leaders Montpellier and Paris Saint Germain.Senegalese striker Moussa Sow grabbed his sixth goal of the season in the 16th minute with a close-ranger header before Belgian star Eden Hazard also took his tally to six in the 58th minute. Hazard’s goal was the result of a neat interchange of passes with English import Joe Cole which carved open the Dijon defence. Lyon, fresh from their miraculous 7-1 Champions League win at Dinamo Zagreb in midweek, edged Lorient 1-0 to stay in fourth spot, two points behind Lille.Bafetimbi Gomis, who scored the fastest hat-trick in Champions League history in Croatia to secure the team’s last 16 place, helped create Alexandre Lacazette’s 54th-minute winner.
