Germany coach Joachim Low has admitted his side were second best in a 2-1 defeat at home to France last night. In the final warm-up game before Low picks his squad for UEFA EURO 2012, he was left with more questions than answers to ponder over the coming months. "You are always frustrated when you lose games, and I am a bit annoyed with how we lost," he said. "France were superior to us throughout the game. We were unable to find our game in the second half and that is why France deserved to win." A late goal from Cacau gave the Stuttgart striker at least something to smile about, and he hopes to have done enough to have convinced Low that he should also be going to Poland and Ukraine. "It would have been better if we had got at least a draw, but it was good for me that I scored," he said on the German Football Association's official website. "I have a great chance of being at the European Championship and I want to take it. It is going to be tight right up to the EURO, but I will give it all I have got." Winless Wiese Goalkeeper Tim Wiese should be sure of his place in the squad as Germany's number two behind Manuel Neuer, but he was not in the mood for talking last night. His sixth Germany cap ended like the previous five - without a win. "This is how the business works, what can you do about it?" he told the Bild newspaper.
