Rangers manager Ally McCoist reacted furiously after winger Sone Aluko had his two-match ban for diving upheld by the Scottish Football Association on Thursday. The 22-year-old was found guilty of diving to win a penalty during champions Rangers’ 2-1 Scottish Premier League win against Dunfermline last Saturday. Aluko will miss the league matches against Hibernian and Invernes after Rangers rejected the offer of a fixed suspension when the player was issued with a notice of complaint.“I have to say that I am absolutely shocked and extremely angry at the fact this committee has upheld the decision to give Sone a two-game ban,” McCoist said.“The three gentlemen on the panel have effectively called my player a cheat and a liar, neither of which he is.”
