Sebastian Vettel, the two-time Formula One champion, said he is excited about the new Red Bull car for next season, which he hopes will deliver him a third consecutive title. "We are all curious about the car. We see it coming together," he told the BBC. "It's like a child being born. I'm not a father, but they tell me that's how it feels." Vettel cruised to a runaway defence of his title this year to become, at 24 years and 98 days old, the youngest back-to-back F1 champion. He joined a select club of nine drivers - Alberto Ascari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Jack Brabham, Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Mika Hakkinen, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher - to successfully defend the title. Vettel also established a record for most pole positions in a season, as his 15 (from 19 races) surpassed Nigel Mansell's previous mark set in 1992. Vettel said he was enjoying the Christmas break after a long season. "There isn't much of an off-season," he said, "so it's really important to use that to shut the system down, calm down and charge the batteries. "Not forget about F1 but forget for a while about all the stress. "It all starts from zero again and we all have the same chance. I'm looking forward to the competition. We are all very happy with this year, so it wouldn't be right to ask for more."
