Michael Vick said he wasn't backing away from his daredevil style of quarterbacking despite criticism from Philadelphia Eagles fans and the media. Vick stood by the comments he made on a radio interview earlier in the week in which he indicated he would continue to scramble and run with the ball despite the risk of injuries, which sidelined him for three games last season. "I don't let criticism get to me," Vick told reporters after an Eagles workout Friday. "I rarely hear it." The (Wilmington, Del.) News Journal said Saturday that Vick told a radio station that while he was more conscious about the risks of being knocked out of a game, it was not a reason for him to adopt a more conservative style. Vick said Friday he understood why fans would conclude that throwing the ball away when his receivers are covered was a valid option; however running the offense and the final score was his responsibility. "That's what we signed up for and that's why we get paid to do what we do," he said.
