Panamanian forward Yairo Yau has joined Australian A-League side Sydney FC, the club said on Wednesday. "We're very excited about being able to entice Yau to Sydney FC," coach Ian Crook said of the 22-year-old, who has played for his country four times, scoring once. "He's quick, direct, can play as a striker or a wide man on either side and he can cross a ball. He's played recently for Panama and we're thrilled he will be joining us for the 2012/13 season." Yau, who joins from Panama club Sporting San Miguelito, will link up with Croatian striker Krunoslav Lovrek who signed for the club last week, as well as former Blackburn Rovers star Brett Emerton.
