Algerian Accessories designer Shabarly Khadija said that the daily routine is the major reason behind her decision to develop her talents, saying that she is fond of handicrafts. She praised the role performed by her family to support her in this career since the beginning, saying that the whole family likes the manual activities.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, “My mother was a fashion designer, while I turned to accessories after my graduation from the Faculty of Economy. My first work was to design jewelry in the traditional clothes.
She added that she strongly depends on classic jewelries, while she uses precious stones, including pearls, and agate stone. She added that her production has great popularity inside the country, stressing that a large number of women prefer the handmade accessories instead of these jewelries sold in the Jewelry Stores due to their increasing prices.
She added that she prepares currently for presenting a new set of jewelries to be presented during the current Spring in the International Salon for Traditional Industries scheduled to be opened on Thursday. She added that the new group is classing, saying that she was keen to diversify the pieces to meet the aspirations of all her consumers.
