Interior: Gang members impersonating police officers to kidnap, rob foreigners killed

Security forces targeted a gang in New Cairo that was impersonating police officers to kidnap and rob foreigners, an official at the Interior Ministry media center said on Thursday.
During the operation, the forces and the gang members exchanged fire in which the defendants were killed.
A probe was launched into the incident.
