Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci, leading a large delegation to Rabat, Morocco, is to take part in the works of the 31st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) on Sunday. "The participants at the AMU meeting will discuss ways and means to boost Maghreb joint action in the light of the latest developments and the challenges faced by the region, in addition to issues relating to economic integration and the Union’s reform," the spokesman of the Foreign Affairs ministry, Amar Belani, said in a statement. The meeting’s agenda includes the adoption of the budget of the Union’s general secretariat, the assessment of Maghreb Union building process and discussions about next AMU events, according to the source. Rabat meeting will also be an opportunity for "AMU Foreign Ministers to continue consultation and coordination of positions over regional and international political issues,.
