An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 hit Canakkale city, south west of Istanbul on Monday morning.
No material or human losses were reported.
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 5.5 kilometers below the surface, according to Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute.
It was felt in the neighboring Mugla, Aydin, Izmir, Bursa and Tekirdag provinces, reports said.
