5.3-magnitude quake hits Black Sea, offshore Georgia

An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted Black Sea, offshore Georgia at 2244 GMT on Tuesday (0644 on Wednesday at local time), the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 13.8 km, was initially determined to be at 42.44 degrees north latitude and 41.02 degrees east longitude.
