An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted 168km SSE of Naze, Japan at 03:44:29 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 26.9868 degrees north latitude and 130.1952 degrees east longitude.
