An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale jolted western Greece early Friday,
The U.S. Geological said that the quake jolted 35 kilometres to the South West, of Lithakia, Greece, adding that the epicenter had a depth of 16.55 km.
A seismologist official in Athens said that there were no reports of damages or human casualties resulting from the earthquake.
