An earthquake of 6.9 magnitude jolted 287 km S of Ndoi Island, Fiji on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 414.8 km, was initially determined to be at 23.2448 degrees south latitude and 178.8345 degrees west longitude.
