Islamabad - BNA

The Pakistani region of Baluchistan was reportedly hit by a magnitude 4.2 earthquake at dawn today without human casualties or material damage. The Pakistani Meteorological and Geo-physical Survey Agency reported that the quake's epicenter was located some 50 kilometers southeast of Quetta city and that locals felt the tremor in the northern half of Baluchistan. The quake came only two days after a similar quake in the order of 4.5 on the Richter scale had jolted the same region. A magnitude 2.9 quake had also hit "Chitral" city in northwestern Pakistan.
