The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) revealed that 97.1 percent 1,147 of samples collected from facilities and tested last year conformed to the standards.

In a statement, the ADFCA said only 2.9 percent of the samples did not conform to the standards, and that administrative and legal procedures were taken against erring facilities The food control body underlined that the figures demonstrate the role of ADFCA in ensuring food safety and health of consumer through various integrated control system at checkpoints.
