Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received here today the Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs Peter Stulken, who was accompanied by the CEO of Canada GCC Advisors Ara Albert Khatcherian and Operations Manager Katrina Dolgopolova.
Dr. Mirza discussed with the delegation ways to consolidate bilateral cooperation in the fields of electricity, water and renewable energy.
He explored the available electricity and water investment opportunities for Canadian companies.
The Minister said that the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) welcomes cooperation with the Canadian companies in order to upgrade its performance and improve the quality of its services.
Members of the delegation expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister and EWA for the meeting, and welcomed their visions on ways to develop joint cooperation.
Adviser to the Minister for Technical and Engineering Affairs Dr.Abdul-Majeed Habib Abdul-Karim was present.
