The Civil Protection issued Thursday in a communiqué prevention measures to citizens to face the scorching heat affecting the country, calling them to follow the necessary recommendations in such circumstances.
The Protection civil advised citizens to close the shutters and curtains of the facades facing the sun, keep the windows closed as long as the outdoor temperature is higher than the indoor temperature and to open the windows early in the morning, late in the evening and at night.
Citizens are also called to make draught in all the building when the outdoor temperature is lower than the indoor temperature, to turn down and turn off the electric lights and not to expose to the sun particularly, the elderly, people with chronic illnesses and children.
