An earthquake of 6.4 magnitude struck 500 km west of the Pacific island of Tonga on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
No immediate reports of any casualties or damage were available, Sky News channel reported.
There was also no immediate tsunami warning, the channel added.
