An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 shook an area on the Nepal-India border Wednesday morning.
The quake's epicenter was 63 kilometers southeast of the eastern Nepalese town of Biratnagar and 395 kilometers north of Kolkata in India.
Mukunda Bhattarai of Nepal's National Seismological Center said the quake struck at 5:25 a.m. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
