Moderate quake hits northern Myanmar
Yangon - XINHUA
A moderate earthquake jolted northern Myanmar Friday evening, State Hydrology and Meteorology Department confirmed without giving the magnitude and exact location of the quake immediately. According to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a 5.7 magnitude quake hit Myanmar with a depth of 20 km. It was estimated the quake occurred in Sagaing region. The quake was initially felt in Mandalay.
