An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale jolted south of the Fiji Islands at 0052 GMT on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 582.80 km, was initially determined to be at 24.9585 degrees south latitude and 178.6111 degrees east longitude.
