Three volcanoes are erupting actively on Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia’s Far East. The volcano Klyuchevskoy has emitted the ash at an altitude of 6,500 metres on Sunday, the press service of the Far Eastern regional emergency situation centre reported. The volcano Shiveluch has discharged the ash at an altitude of four kilometres. The volcano Karymsky has spewed the ash at an altitude of 2.5 kilometres. The clouds of ash are forming over the top of the volcanoes, Kamchatka volcanologists said. The ash blanket is spreading in different directions at a distance of up to 50-80 kilometres. Temperature abnormalities are reported everywhere in the area. The air temperature is minus 17 degrees Celsius near the volcano Shiveluch, the air temperature reached plus 45 degrees Celsius on the volcano. The flight hazard persists in the area of seven volcanoes of Kamchatka Territory (Shiveluch, Kizimen, Karymsky, Gorely, Plosky Tolbachik, Klyuchevskoy, Bezymyanny). This factor is caused by ash and aerosol tails, which are caused by in-depth magmatic processes. Weak volcanic emissions are reported on the volcanoes Shiveluch, Bezymyanny, Kizimen, Karymsky and Klyuchevskoy. The settlements, economic facilities, croplands are beyond the zone of volcanic emissions.
