Yemen and World Bank (WB) on Wednesday signed here a finance agreement to the project of Climate Information System and PPCR Program Coordination (IBRD). The project is funded by the Strategic Climate Fund (SCF) with an amount of $19 million. It is designed to strengthen Yemen's national meteorological and hydrological services to improve weather climate and hydrological service delivery through raising capacities of the Civil Aviation and Meteorological Authority (CAMA), Environment Protection Authority (EPA), Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation and National Water Resources Authority. The agreement was signed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi and WB representative.
