The film "El Khouroudj li nahar" (coming forth by day), by Egyptian Hala Lotfy won the "Wihr d’or" (Golden Lion) at the 6th Arab Film Festival in Oran (FOFA), which came to a close Saturday evening, during a ceremony organized at Conventions Centre "Mohamed Benahmed". The award for best short film returned to Sidi Boumediene Amine for "AlDjazira" (Island). Twelve feature films and 14 short films were nominated for one of the awards of this festival. The jury of the "feature-length film" was chaired by Professor Hadj Meliani, University of Mostaganem, while the short film jury was chaired by the young Algerian filmmaker and producer Mounes Khamar. Twelve Arab countries participated in the festival.
