"Kuwait Days in Milan" festival proceeded for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday amid high turnout of curious visitors and onlookers. Hundreds of people gathered at Al-Duomo Piaza and were entertained with Kuwaiti folkloric music, traditional products and textile items on display at the ancient location. Craftsmen building miniature wooden dhows or weaving ornamented textile pieces drew attention of many visitors, overwhelmed with a genuine Kuwaiti atmosphere filled with folkloric music and decorated with items depicting the national heritage. A team of the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) was present at the Kuwaiti pavilion, answering questions by curious visitors and onlookers, briefing them about the homeland, national accomplishments and landmarks. Other Kuwaiti teams were also preoccupied with aiding the visitors -- representing various departments and establishments, namely the ministries of information, health and foreign affairs. At night, a special seminar was held on the Kuwaiti architecture. A major seminar is due today on Kuwai's internal and foreign policies and affairs. The eminent academic, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shayji and other eminent figures will lecture the audience. Other symposiums will be held at night today -- related to the protection of the environment and Kuwait's strategy for renewable energy. The national musical troupe is also scheduled to entertain the attendees.
