An exhibition of Ayman El-Zorkany's visuals from The Use of Life, a novel by Ahmed Naji, will take place at art space Wekalet Behna in Alexandria on 26 March.
The show features the illustrations of El-Zorkany "using shorthand and extending the material to take the audience through a unique visual experience, where the visual language is connected to the script in its structure and contradicting in its practices," a press statement read.
The event will also include a book signing by Naji, a Cairo-based journalist and writer.
The book was published last year by Dar Al-Tanweer.
