Fifteen visual artists will take part in the “New Algerian Artistic Scene” exhibition for the 11thcontemporary AfricanArt Biennalein Dakar “Dak’Art 2014,” which will kick-start Friday. The preview of the exhibition, organized by the Algerian Agency for the Cultural Influence (AARC) is scheduled Monday May 12, at the at the Algerian pavilion in the Remembrance Square, which will host the works of participating artists until the end of the Biennale, to end May 8th. The artists participating in this event include Walid Aidoud, Hichem Belhamiti, Maya Ben Cheikh Feggoune, Adel Bentounsi, Zineddine Bessai, Oualid Bouchouchi, Fatima Chafai, Mourad Krinh, Meriem Touimer, Sofiane Zougar. The Contemporary African Art Biennale of Dakar is one of the main events on the African continent to dedicate its selection exclusively to artists living in the continent and abroad.
