A glowing homage is to be paid June 13 in Paris to the late singer Cheb Akil, through a mega Rai concert, to mainly feature DJ KIM and artists from Algeria, Morocco and France, organizers said Tuesday. The organizers have chosen to hold the musical show on June 13 to commemorate the first anniversary of the singer's death, in a road accident in Morocco. In addition to DJ KIM, the concert will feature Cheb Didine (Algeria), Cheba Maria, Hanino and Cheb Zoubir (Morocco) as well as other Algerian artists. Cheb Khallas and Kader Japonais have not confirmed yet their participation, according to the main organizer of the concert, DJ KIM. To be held under the slogan "Thank You Akil," the concert will shed light on the human and artistic values of the artist.
