The programme of the evening includes Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings, Felix Mendelssohn: Concerto for Violin and Strings and P. I. Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings. The soloist of the evening is Ahmed Nabil. El Sakia String Orchestra was formed in October 2010 with the aim of promoting classical music through their culture centre, which mainly offers pop and rock concerts. Through the string orchestras activities, young people gain easy access to classical music values.
