The Arab-American photographer, Rania Matar brings her award-winning series of images, A Girl and her Room, to the UK for the first time as part of the Shubbak festival. This series features photographic portraits of teenage girls from USA, Lebanon and Palestine in their personal spaces displayed at the prestigious mosaic rooms.The Communications Department at the FCO has teamed up with the office of the Mayor of London to support ‘Shubbak’ London’s first ever celebration of Arab culture. The festival began on July 4th and ends on the 24th.
