The Centre for Socialist Studies in Egypt will host an event Sunday, 13 May, at 6pm to discuss the future of the Egyptian revolution and resistance against counter-revolution. The event, according to organisers, comes at a time when Egypt is witnessing unprecedented confusion ahead of presidential elections, a crackdown by the military on protesters, and divisions among revolutionary groups. The event will feature economist and journalist Wael Gamal, the leftist figure Kamal Khalil, in addition to activists Mohammed Wakid, Ramy Sabry and Mostafa Bassiouny. Programme: Sunday, 13 May, 6pm Centre for Socialist Studies, 7 Mourad Street, Giza.
