The Voices of Syria exhibition will showcase works at the Mashrabia Gallery by Syrian artists currently living and working in Syria under difficult conditions. The exhibition aims to bring works by known artists and at the same time give exposure to new artists in the process of gaining international visibility. The Mashrabia Gallery said it believes that "By selling their art works they will be financially supporting other independent Syrian artists who have been deeply affected by the circumstances in their home country. We wish to express solidarity with the victims of the Syrian conflict through this event and offer the public a platform for discussion." Programme: Opens Sunday, 11 March, 7:00pm Runs until 29 March The Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art 8 Champollion Street Downtown, Cairo Daily hours: 11:00am - 8pm Closed on Fridays
