Hezbollah will not be ordered by Tehran to retaliate on Israel if it attacks Iran, the group’s leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, has told his supporters. He added that in such a situation Hezbollah’s leadership would meet and discuss the matter. Many fear that the Lebanon-based militant group would immediately unleash a barrage of rockets in retaliation for any attack on its close ally and supporter. "There is speculation about what would happen if Israel bombed Iran's nuclear facilities," Nasrallah said. "I tell you that the Iranian leadership will not ask Hezbollah to do anything. On that day, we will sit, think and decide what we will do." Hezbollah has been in conflict with Israel since 1982 when Israel invaded Lebanon.
