He also said that this festival, which benefits of DZD 30 million, includes this year, evenings in five dairas (sub-prefectures) of the province namely, Ben Badis, Sfisef, Sidi Lahcen, Ain El Berd and Mostefa Benbrahim.
“It’s a first ever. We have thought of the people who cannot travel to Sid Bel Abbes,” he added.
In addition, a study day on the Rai song and music will be led by Lotfi Attar, of the group Raina Rai on the second day of the festival.
The official opening of this edition will be Thursday evening, by the group Raina Rai, Cheba Kheira, Cheb Redouane, Cheb Yacine El Abbassi and Cheb Abbes in addition to young singers.
The event’s programme also includes evenings with Rai stars, such as Cheba Zahwania, Cheb Houari Dauphin and Hakim Salhi.
