Novelists Ahlam Mosteghanemi and Wassiny Laaredj will take part in the 31st International Cultural Festival in Gabes, Tunisia, from July 19 to August 7, local media reported.
The two Algerian writers will lead literary meetings with some of their Tunisian counterparts, like philosopher Fathi Triki.
Ahlam Mosteghanemi is one of the most talented female writers in Arab literature.
His novel "Flesh Memories," published in 1993, won Naguib Mahfoud Award in 1998.
Wassiny Laeredj is also considered as one of the greatest novelists of the present time by Arab readers.
His novel "The Book of the Emir"(2004) got the Grand Prix of Writers (Algeria, 2006).
The author also received Cheikh Zayed Literary Prize in 2007.
