Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment
Dubai - Arab Today

As the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), gets ready to launch its 21st edition of Dubai Shopping Festival on 1 January, leading players in the private sector and other major entities are looking forward to offering their continued support during the much-awaited retail season.

DSF 2016, which runs until 1 February under the tagline "Unwrap The Exceptional" will be further strengthened by the participation of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, who have become a Strategic Partner of DFRE.

With DSF being the ideal platform for the retail sector to launch promotions and run their own activations, DFRE has been working closely with private sector partners, shopping malls and a number of other entities to launch massive promotional campaigns offering fabulous prizes aimed at ensuring that DSF visitors have an exceptionally rewarding experience.

Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of DFRE, said, "It is unheard of for a festival to have partners supporting it for 20 long years, but this is what Dubai Shopping Festival has proudly achieved over the past two decades, as evident in our longstanding collaboration with our Strategic Partners and Key Sponsors. Since it was launched in 1996, Dubai Shopping Festival has grown to become a global attraction, offering a unique blend of shopping, entertainment and winning opportunities that have been made possible due to the whole-hearted support offered by our partners."

She said this collaboration with the government and private sectors has played a major role in the success of DSF over the last two decades, notably the positive impact it has made on different economic sectors in Dubai year after year. "For this, we are truly grateful to our partners for their support that will ensure that DSF 2016 will be able to deliver on its promise of offering exceptional experiences to visitors from around the world."

DFRE''s Strategic Partners for 2016 are: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Emirates, AW Rostamani Group, Al Futtaim Group, The Dubai Mall, Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Mercato Mall, Paris Gallery, ENOC, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai Duty Free, Meraas Holding and Etisalat. In addition, the Key Sponsors of DSF 2016 are: Visa, Jumbo and Global Village.
