Eid in Dubai festival
Abu Dhabi - WAM

The Eid in Dubai promotion starts on Tuesday with chances to win Dh2 million in cash and gift vouchers, officials said.
The raffle promotion will start on July 15 and cover Eid Al Fitr and the two days after Eid.
Eid Al Fitr this year will fall on July 28 or 29, which means the promotion will run until July 30 or 31.
Shoppers will be able to avail of the raffle coupons on spending Dh200 at any of the participating malls across the Ramadan and Eid season.
The promotion will see one shopper win Dh500,000. Also, five other shopping vouchers worth Dh25,000 (as Eidiyat) will be won on each of the three days of Eid.
An additional raffle will be held on July 26, with five other winners walking away with prizes worth Dh25,000.
Eid in Dubai will be followed by Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), which will run from August 2-September 5. DSS will see shoppers winning six BMW luxury cars and Dh500,000 in shopping vouchers.
In all, shoppers will have the opportunity to win prizes worth Dh4 million. More information on the promotions is available on dubaimallsgroup.com
Both events are part of the Summer is Dubai campaign of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
In June, DFRE and Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) had also organised a raffle promotion. Eid in Dubai forms the second phase of the promotions.
DSMG Chairman Majid Al Ghurair said: "This year the first phase of the campaign has seen a sharp increase in the number of visitors and sales at our participating malls.
"Year after year, our promotions keep getting bigger and better. As part of our social responsibility DSMG is committed to organising events that significantly enrich our communities and underscore our deep-rooted values.”
Saeed Al Falasi, Director, Strategic Alliances Division at DFRE, added: "DFRE has been at the forefront of organising the most innovative and successful raffle-linked shopping promotions that attract a large number of visitors to Dubai, even during the summer. Over the past few years, the summer promotion has grown in popularity, offering rewarding experiences for shoppers and further boosting business during this period.”
The malls participating in the campaign this year include Al Ain Centre, Al Barsha Mall, Al Bustan Centre, Al Ghurair Centre, Al Manal Centre, Al Mulla Plaza, Arabian Centre, Bin Sougat Centre, BurJuman Centre, Century Mall, City Walk, Dubai Outlet Mall, Ethihad Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Karama Centre, Lamcy Plaza, Madina Mall, Mazaya Shopping Centre, Oasis Centre, Palm Strip Shopping Mall, Reef Mall, Sunset Mall, The Beach, Times Square Centre, Twin Tower, Wafi.
