Cinema and theatre department at Iraqi culture ministry announced that, it will organize a week for Iranian movies in Baghdad. Manager of the department, Zeinab Al Kasab said in a statement which “Arab Today” received a copy of it that, the Iranian movies’ week will be from May 2 to May 6 in the National Theater Hall in Baghdad, and it is an open invitation.
Al Kasab said that, the visit conducted by Cultural relations official at the Iranian embassy and director of the Iranian Broadcasting and Television Office to the department was to activate the signed agreement between Iraqi and Iranian culture ministries, adding that, such initiatives from Iran will help in exchanging experiences in the cinematic field, allowing everyone to benefit from developed cinema techniques of both sides. She confirmed that, Cinema and theatre department will offer all the support for such acts, which is consistent with the Iraqi audience.
