A new group of female heroes is coming to Marvel town!
Marvel announced Friday the creation of a new all-female Avengers team called A-Force that will be the subject of an upcoming book series.
Marvel Comic's A-Force will be written by G. Willow Wilson and Marguerite K. Bennett with artwork by Jorge Molina, the publisher said on its website.
The group will be introduced in the Secret Wars comics in May where they'll take the place of The Avengers in "one of the largest shake-ups to the Avengers mythos," according to Marvel.
"We've purposefully assembled a team composed of different characters from disparate parts of the Marvel U, with very different power sets, identities and ideologies," Willow Wilson said.
