In the new novel, “Hidden in the Bush” (published by AuthorHouse) author Mélanie Charbonneau weaves an intricate tale of a secret world, hidden in the boreal forest, where kidnapped children are made to live and do the unheard of bidding of a psychopath known only as Godzilla. Hiding in the underbrush outside Fort McMurray a secret community thrives, at least if thriving is a reality of torture, rape, kidnap and theft. Ruled with an iron-fist by the murderous Godzilla, the community, and even some outside the community, is too terrified to disobey even the most heinous command. When a girl known as Foxy Lady mucks up an unrelated undercover police operation while on a mission for the community, officers Rob and Sabrina run her down, arrest her and begin the arduous task of ascertaining her motivation. Foxy is a hard nut to crack, and even when she starts talking, her story is so unbelievable that if it weren’t verifiable via Google, the officers would have thought her to be crazy. Detail after atrocious detail, Foxy regales Rob and Sabrina with the story of her life in the community, from age 5 when she was kidnapped and taken to the Fort McMurray bush. The shocking, disturbing and secretive details of Foxy’s story lead Rob and Sabrina to Godzilla, but will they be able to bring him in unscathed? And even if they do, how could all the damage Godzilla has caused ever be undone? Source: PRWEB
