Author Lesley Williams brings her love of Greek mythology to children of all ages with the publication of her new poetic children’s book, “The Adventures of Hercubear” (published by AuthorHouse), the story of a heroic, cuddly teddy bear and his incredible feats. “I have always loved Greek myths and enjoyed watching the Hercules TV series,” recalls Williams, “and so, with my love of writing for my own children, I set about writing a story in poem format. It grew from there.” Hercubear is the greatest hero in all of Ancient Greece and has had many grand adventures. Readers will join in the fun as Hercubear goes up against the smelly Cyclops Rabbit, Pusseidon, the cat god of the sea and the mighty Hamazons, a race of female warrior hamsters. An excerpt from “The Adventures of Hercubear”: “But now in Thebes there came a threat, So terrifying it made the teddies sweat. For on the hillside, above the town, A beast so fierce was looking down.” Williams encourages readers to be on the lookout for more adventures of Hercubear, which she hopes to publish in the near future. “The Adventures of Hercubear” By Lesley Williams Softcover | 8.5 x 11 in | 30 pages | ISBN 9781496975614 E-Book | 30 pages | ISBN 9781496975621 Available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble Source: PRWEB
