The hit rock 'n' roll musical Dreamboats And Petticoats, which has already entertained more than two million people, returns for a limited West End run. It is 1961 and emotions are running high as young musicians Norman and Bobby battle for victory in a national song writing competition and, more importantly, to win the affection of the gorgeous Sue. But when Bobby discovers that the shy Laura has a hidden talent for tinkling the ivories, love and rock 'n' roll fame beckons. Dreamboats And Petticoats, which is written by the team behind sitcoms Goodnight Sweetheart and Birds Of A Feather, features classic songs from pop music's golden era, including Let's Dance, To Know Him Is To Love Him, Shaking All Over, Bobby's Girl, Little Town Flirt, Only Sixteen, Runaround Sue, Happy Birthday Sweet 16, Let It Be Me and Let's Twist Again. The hopping, bopping hit show, inspired by the multi-million selling albums of the same name, first opened in the West End in 2009, enjoying successful runs at the Savoy and Playhouse theatres.
