The eight Pan-African Dance Festival (FESPAD) will take place from February 23 to March 3 in all districts of Rwanda, organizers said Thursday. Rica Rwigamba, head of Tourism and Conservation at Rwanda Development Board (RDB), said the festival would include dance performances, fashion shows, concerts and visual art exhibitions. "Fireworks are also planned for the opening and closing ceremonies," she told Chinese news agency Xinhua. The weeklong event is expected to bring together nearly 300 artists from about fifteen countries, including Egypt, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Uganda and Tanzania.
