A documentary film maker has captured the moment when Syrian regime forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad bombed civilians in Al-Bara in 2012. Olly Lambert was interviewing Jamal Maarouf, a Syrian rebel commander when government jets bombed a location just 300 metres away. Lambert kept filming to capture the immediate aftermath and the effect of the strikes on the civilian population. The footage has been compressed into a 36 minute feature, capturing the chaos and confusion as villagers try to rescue those trapped under the rubble. The Frontline feature is available to view online, and features a commentary from Lambert.
