Performers stage a Chinese version of "The Crucible", a drama by U.S. playwright Arthur Miller, in Beijing, capital of China, Jan. 11, 2015. "The Crucible" is a play on the Salem witch trials that took place in colonial Massachusetts between 1692 and 1693. This Chinese versionis directed by Wang Xiaoying of the National Theatre of China. Its public performance is scheduled from Jan. 14 to 18 at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
