Airport source: Syria-bound disarmament team lands in Beirut

A team of inspectors charged with overseeing the destruction of Syria's chemical weapons arrived in Beirut on Monday, ahead of their trip to Damascus, an airport source told AFP. The group of 20 experts from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons arrived on a private plane, Lebanon's state news agency said, and is scheduled to travel to Syria on Tuesday.
