Apple: 9 million iPhones sold in launch

Apple said Monday it sold a record nine million iPhones in the three days after launching two new versions of the smartphone. "This is our best iPhone launch yet -- more than nine million new iPhones sold --new record for first weekend sales," said Apple chief Tim Cook in a statement."The demand for the new iPhones has been incredible."
